Jozu

Jozu is a big, very muscular, broad-chested, heavily-armored and dark-skinned man, called a giant by Crocodile. Even when standing in a hunched position, he is roughly twice Crocodile's height. He has a long face with black stripe-like patterns for a beard and hairstyle. His legs are relatively thin in comparison to his muscular arms. He appears battle-hardened and has a perpetual scowl on his face. The dark armor he wears and his hair style are very similar to that of an Aztec warrior, with red-bolted darl shoulder pads (the bolts were later changed to gray). On his chest he has a green cuirass, whose front and back portions are connected by metal straps that go over both his collarbones. The cuirass' color was later changed to a rusty red color. Around his waist there is a big, elaborated golden belt, worn over what looks like a green skirt similar to the ones worn by Aztecs, with golden decorations near the edge. He also wears what look like studded, black and gold large-buckled shoes or boots and matching black studded pants. During the battle at the summit, he lost his right arm.

Marco

Marco is a lean, muscular, blonde-haired man with a rather sleepy look and some stubble around his chin. He wears a purple jacket and a light blue sash adorned with an elaborate golden-yellow belt around his waist. He has dark gray knee-long pants and black sandals, and on his left leg he wears what appears to be some sort of straw decoration, in a similar fashion to Arlong. While his chest was bare in his initial appearance, in his subsequent appearances he has the cross and crescent moon mustache symbol that resembles a dark blue silhouette of Whitebeard's Jolly Rogertattooed on it.[2]

Edward Newgate

Edward Newgate, more commonly known as "Whitebeard" was the captain of the Whitebeard Pirates and was known as "The Strongest Man in the World" after Gol D. Roger's death.[4] He was a member of the Yonko that ruled over the New World [2] until his death during the Battle of Marineford.[3]

Nico Robin

Nico Robin[1] is the archaeologist of the Straw Hat Pirates. She was originally introduced as the vice president of Baroque Works, known as Miss All Sunday,[2] before joining the Straw Hats. She is the seventh member of the crew, the sixth to join, and, like Nami and Usopp, is the second to rejoin, doing so near the end of the Enies Lobby Arc. Robin is also the first member to have once been an antagonist. She ate the Hana Hana no Mi. During the Post-War arc, she became involved with theRevolutionaries for two years. Her dream is to find the Rio Poneglyph which tells the true history. She currently holds abounty of Beli80,000,000.[4]

Roronoa Zoro

Roronoa Zoro,[1] also known as "Pirate Hunter Zoro",[5] is apirate[3] and a former bounty hunter[4].
He was the first member to join the Straw Hat Pirates, and, to date, is considered the largest threat and most dangerous member in the crew after Luffy. His fame as a master swordsmanand his great strength, along with the actions of his captain, sometimes led others to believe he was the true captain of the crew earlier on.[12] He is one of the top three fighters in the crew alongside Luffy and Sanji, and his dream is to become the greatest swordsman in the world.[13] Zoro was regarded as one of "The Eleven Supernovas", the eleven rookie pirates with bounties over Beli100,000,000 to have reached the Red Line before the two year time skip, with a current bounty of Beli120,000,000.[14]

Tony Tony Chopper

Tony Tony Chopper is the doctor of the Straw Hat Pirates. Chopper is a reindeer that ate a Devil Fruit called the Hito Hito no Mi. He came from Drum Island, which makes him the only member of the Straw Hat Pirates who was born on the Grand Line. He is the sixth member of the crew and the fifth to join Luffy, as well as being the youngest member on board. He has a bounty of Beli50 due to being mistaken for the crew's pet.[1]

Franky

Franky is the shipwright for the Straw Hat Pirates. He is a 36-year-old[5] cyborg from Water 7 and was introduced in the story as the leader of the Franky Family, a group of ship dismantlers.[1]He was originally named "Cutty Flam" until he threw away his original name for his nickname per the request of Iceburg to hide his identity.[9] Franky and his followers were originally introduced as antagonists of the Water 7 Arc against the Straw Hats until circumstances forced them to become allies. At the request of the Franky Family, Franky was allowed to join the Straw Hats to fulfill his dream of creating and riding a ship capable of circum-navigating the world, the Thousand Sunny. He is the eighth member of the Straw Hat crew and the seventh to join Luffy'screw.[10] He is also the second member to have been a former antagonist (the first being Nico Robin). He has a bounty of Beli44,000,000.[2] He is originally from South Blue [11] which he left 32 years ago as a kid of four years of age.
